Sheffield Soldiers In ‘Slag Mag’ Shame
A rather entertaining story in this fortnight’s edition of the Forge Press at the University of Sheffield. Apparently, the Sheffield University Officer Training Corps have been involved in the publication of the wonderfully titled ‘Slag Mag’ – a periodical detailing the various sexual exploits of its members.
‘A French kiss receives one point, fellatio is given three points, and fornication is given four points’, which seems fair enough. It all seems a bit storm-in-a-tea-cupish, to be honest. In fact, I seem to recall a similar system being employed by a few other University societies in my first year.
Sheffield Hallam and the University released this statement stating that they:
“deplore any behaviour which brings their good name into disrepute, and undermines the fantastic volunteering and other work which is being done continually by the Sheffield University OTC students”
Heaven forbid that potential squaddies should behave like actual squaddies…
